proposal for annual camp
Ok. I've received the proposal for the annual camp. But oni for the part As. The part Bs one not yet. There are some problems with the proposal. Firstly, they merged everything into the time table. All their explanations are inside..making look messy and hard to comprehend. However, lets not pick on theur format. I still dont understand. i will forward the 50th and 49th clt a copy of it and i urge ur to attend to it and give ur feedback asap as there is not much time left. The safety measures are also just not enough. Ya..so jus look into it asap la. Thanks

the proposal was very unorganise... mainly i only know wat activities they are having... no time frame... this proposal i find it unacceptable... there is totally no allocation of specs arranged... and some of the activities would only be briefed on that day itself... this is very bad... mdm would also kick up a big fuss abt it too... she will definitely not accept it... i think its time to take them in hand this time... i feel they are becoming more and more un-united... as in their planning and stuff... a lot of them nowadays prefer to hold on to info rather than to pass it on... this should not be case and we should really drill into them the concept of having the appointments and rank thing again... these things should not be abt being in power or something... holding info does not make them exceptional and that we have to depend on them to get things done just because they know wat is going on... time has been given to them to change... deterrance with regards to us pu nishing them if they have not done their job well should come to an end... since deterrance has no effect on them... it is time for actions... i really need u guy's comments on this... should we start taking action as i have stated in my stand earlier or should we see them continuing their disregard for the issues we have raised to their attention since the start of them taking over... pls voice ur views...thx
daryl..i totally agree with u. But i have listed out their mistakes and asked them to correct it. The part A proposal is done and i have accepted it. I will send u the proposal when i see u online. As for the part B one i just received it yesterday. It was much worse den the part A team's initial one. I have told the planner about it and he will change it.i just want to bring up 1 point to take note. THIS CAMP IS RUNNED CO-CURRENTLY BUT THE SPECS ARE RUNNING IT IN A WAY THAT PART A IS PART A..PART B IS PART B. They do not share any activities except for the soccer..which i guess is what the specs want to play..but putting it in a way that its the cadets who wants to play. I will talk to them about running the camp together. As for the late submission of proposal..punishment is a must this time. And i will make it a hefty one.
so u are saying that the camp is run in a way where the part b's and a's are doing separate activities... that totally defeats the purpose of the annual camp... the annual camp is for fun but it is also at the same time to look out for possible future leaders... this is a time when we can see how the part b's leads the part a's in their group and also how co-operative they are... this camp is also to unite the unit as a whole... we should not place them at such that they do not work together... i hope they could change some of their plannings... i think next time we ought to brief them on the objectives of the camp and what we would like to see before asking them to plan... Anyway, we have to rush it out... the camp is this friday... do we need to let mdm approve of the proposal first??? i just wanna say i think we should trash things out with the specs during this camp like the way we did last year... then we can really hear what they have to say... u know... like the type when the other part's are asleep and then we ask them to gather and really have a talk with them...
yup..i tink i will hold the screwing session at night. Well..i have talked to them about running the camp together and i think its more or less done. I think the proposal should be most likelu approved cos i tink its more or less acceptable..besides, if not approve also no time le. it already took them half a month for the 1st draft submission..dun expect them to submit in 2 days..its impossible given their standard. 1 more thing..daryl u ass..haha..i got the least pts for submission for sclt..now i scared sia. how u get 400 so many? lol
Anyway, for the camp, i think they should at least give us how they wanna time their programmes... and hopefully they can do it by this wednesday... Like this, at least we can give some suggestions for them to allocate their timing in case its not very apropriate... Oh yes, i got so many points through never ending hardwork...for ur info, i already can apply in june, but i miss the chance so accumulate another half year become got a lot lor...
how many points u guys have? One more thing, i might have to book out for the evening on sat evening... i will be back in the night... cos of some family function... sad sia... that timing is the time when the game i like most is happening...
LOL..if u have received the finalised proposal for the part a..the timings are all there and i find that its ok.

i don't chiong HQ wat... I barely take part in HQ activities... Compared to him in HQ, i am like nothing... He is pro log... But me, people at HQ don't even recognise me... still ask me are u from the recent intake... I know i look young lah but they don't have to ask like that right? Anyway, Bert can u e-mail me the part a proposal... i didn't receive it... thx...
